Travel Plan

Participants attending the entire schedule of the BRIT XII 2012 are recommended to fly to FUKUOKA via 1) TOKYO, Japan (Airports: Narita or Haneda) or via 2) SEOUL, Korea (Airports: Inchon or Gimpo). There are 50 flights per day from TOKYO to FUKUOA (2hrs) and 8 flights from Inchon to FUKUOKA (1hr 20mins).

After the conference, participants can leave for their destinations from BUSAN (Gimhae Airport) 1) via SEOUL (Inchon or Gimpo) or 2) via TOKYO (Narita or Haneda). From BUSAN, there are 3 flights per day to Inchon (1hr), 30 flights to Gimpo (1hr), and 10 flights to Narita (2hrs).

Also, there are 4 flights per day in-between FUKUOKA and BUSAN (1hr).

Below are 4 possible itineraries:
A:  start - TOKYO - FUKUOKA - (chartered cruise) - BUSAN - TOKYO - end
B:  start - TOKYO - FUKUOKA - (chartered cruise) - BUSAN - SEOUL - end
C:  start - SEOUL - FUKUOKA - (chartered cruise) - BUSAN - SEOUL - end
D:  start - SEOUL - FUKUOKA - (chartered cruise) - BUSAN - TOKYO - end

We strongly recommend you to come to Fukuoka & leave Busan, by way of Seoul (route C).

Korean carriers such as Korean Air (KAL) and Asiana Airlines have a world wide network connecting Seoul Inchon Airport with the main cities in the world. They are respected in each airline alliance, and also usually sell cheap air ticket.

A typical route is as follows:
your place - Seoul - Fukuoka,
Busan - Seoul - your place

This offers the best price and is most convenient for your travel to the conference. You can get a round-trip ticket from North America, Europe, Middle East to Fukuoka/Busan via Seoul for less than $1,500. From Asian countries, it will be only about $1,000.
