Summer International Symposium “Orient on Orient: Images of Asia in
Eurasian Countries” (July 7-9, SRC) and all the related programs
successfully finished. 21 stimulating papers were presented and 116
participants from various countries and regions enjoyed discussion
about quite varied problems concerning comparative culture studies of
the Eurasian countries. On behalf of all the SRC members I would like
to express heartfelt gratitude to all the participants and propose the
continuation of our cooperation in future. Tetsuo Mochizuki, organizer
of the Symposium.
