Concluding an Agreement with the Institute of Slavic Studies, Russian Academy of Sciences

On June 6, 2006 the SRC agreed with the Institute of Slavic Studies (ISS) of the Russian Academy of Sciences to conclude an agreement on cooperation. The SRC has a long history of collaboration with this institute especially in the study of Ukraine and Belarus. Ieda Osamu and Matsuzato Kimitaka were in charge of talking with the ISS to work out the text of agreement. To commemorate this event, the ISS organized a seminar the same day, in which besides Professor Ieda, SRC young researcher, Akao Mitsuharu and Shida Kyoko, gave papers.
